Dating before the insurance policy of February 1767 which Grimwade recorded as the first evidence of Fogelberg's arrival in the UK is a bond of 14th October 1766 which he signed as a bachelor silversmith from St Ann's parish, Westminster to marry the widow Elizabeth Hebert.
Elizabeth was buried in Hampstead in 1791.
He signed another bond in 1792 as a widower from St Ann's parish to marry spinster Susannah Walker of Hampstead.
He had first been assessed to Land Tax in Hampstead in 1790 and finally in 1815.
The Will of Andrew Folgelberg, gentleman late of St John’s, Hampstead, was proved for probate on 3rd February 1815 (National Archives reference PROB 11/1565/50).
