Re: CLIFFORD, Thomas (Grimwade p.467)
5 October 1809 Thomas son of Thomas Clifford late of Fan Street Aldersgate London Victualler deceased apprenticed to Thomas Paine Dexter of Goswell Place Saint Luke London Working Goldsmith. The difference in what is in Grimwade and what is here probably comes down to a simple typographical, an "F" instead of a "P." Related post: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 74&t=25402
