Goldsmiths Hall Apprentice Book No 8 page 339 records the apprenticeship in 1778 of George Whittaker , son of George Whittaker deceased to Thomas Evans ,Goldsmith. Turned over to Charles Hougham , Goldsmith and Currier

Free 4th October 1786

31st December 1794 — Entered mark as bucklemaker at 12, Princes Street, Barbican
Moved to 18, Noble Street by 18th April 1798
