George Evans was apprenticed 12th July 1749 to John Allen I (of the Glovers) and made free on 26th May 1763

He appears on Glovers Company list of 1779 as silversmith, Fore Street

Wakefields Merchant and Tradesmans General Directory of London etc of 1790 gives
EVANS, George - Bucklemaker at 63, Fore Street
