Two table forks

Post by Granmaa »

Here are some high quality table forks. The Minerva's head has a 1 beside it which I think means 95%silver. Could someone tell me the maker; the mark is T&H with a star below and a flower above. Also, I'd like to know the pattern and date.

Hi Miles,

Would it be possible to have a clearer picture for the maker's mark. There are more than 300 containing a star and I would like to make sure that it is a T. Could it be V & H instead of T & H.

Thanking you in advance for your reply

Best Regards

Two table forks

Hello Granmaa,
I have posted the same maker and got an answer by Margaux. Look in French silver at "Unidentified French Cutlery" last post Dec 10,2007.

Thankyou very much for pointing this out to me.

Just for the sake of convenience, I'll copy Margaux's answer here:
Thomas & Henin 1861 - 1865.
