An Austrian spoon?

Here is a tea spoon which I think may be Austrian. There is a head with no numbers around it and GD with a cross between the letters and a sun beneath. Does anyone know something about it?

It is very difficould to see the head. You suggest Austria but normally they include a figure 1 to 4 for 950/1000m to 750/1000 and a letter for the town.
Does your head look like this?
I dont know how to add a picture. And I can see that I am not able to do so. And I dont know how to delete my post.
Try to post a better picture of head. I think it might be France or Paris.

Definitely French, with the French first standard (.950) silver "head of Minerva" mark. The maker's mark is that of flatware maker Guillaume DeniÃ¨re fils, dit Deninger (i.e., Guillaume DeniÃ¨re, Jr., known as Deninger) of Paris. This particular mark of his was registered on 16 Dec 1850 and cancelled 9 Mar 1855, giving a very narrow date for your spoon.
