I have some kind of bar its silver in color, but i don't think its silver and its not gold.
Could you please help me?



I know that the first simbol is an eagle but what kind? is it gold?
maker is AF witch which stands for Alphonse Fouquet 1828 - 1911 Paris
third is 18k mark
and the forth i believe its a some kind of face made be a mark for export

Could you tell me what material is this bar made from?

The eagle of this form is described as ``overstruck on common metal`` + THAN 50%, whatever it means.
I am also very interested to have the issue clarified.

It could be 18K white gold bullion for jewelry production. Still, the use of this particular eagle mark is unclear. The same page with description given above (the link) circulates everywhere. Cannot find any additional info on ``overstruck on common metal``. What is ``common metal`` in this context ? Eighteen karat gold bars are made by some jewelers who specialize in producing alloys from pure gold bullion.Therefore the ``maker`s mark`` here.
