unidentified silver mark

Hello,
I am in possession of a silver rat tail soup ladle, 14' in length and the bowl 3 1/2" in diameter. There are only two (2) hallmarks.
One is a very plain and bold type capital " D " (similar to the D I just typed) with a tilde or squiggly line just above it. I cannot find any comparison.
The other very faint image appears to be an " A ". The A appears to have the profile of a person incorporated in the lower left side facing to the right. The upper right corner has a distinct number "2".
The perimeter on both is a very straight edge rectangle, taller in length than width. both are located on the neck, the "D" is closest to the bowl just above the A.
The squiggly line has me baffled! Thanks for any help....
Peace and love... Madeleine
