On a shoe buckle that I would not put any earlier than 1775, and which has no duty mark . London Lion Passant Guardant of 1756 —1784.
Mark totally unseen by me on anything else.
Only suggestion is possibly an unregistered early mark of Edward Wigan , perhaps while still an apprentice !
Please do not ask for a picture - I bought it as a worn wreck for the mark !
