The knife is like this. Can not find marks on the blade itself. Perhaps not in silver?

That looks like the mark of Isaac Ellis & Sons (IE over &S) of Primus Works, Bridge Street, Sheffield who registered this mark in 1897. The hallmark, as I'm sure you know, is Sheffield, 1902. The blade would have also been hallmarked had it been silver.
