Possible Chinese pseudo marks?

Postby juantotree » Fri Dec 16, 2016 7:37 am

Hi,

I have a sifter ladle with pseudo marks, I am thinking possibly Chinese export marks but does anyone recognise them?

Many Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,

I have a marrow scoop with near identical marks, but sadly no attribution yet.

(They are in Houstone's Early Australian Silver as unknown, possibly Australian).

Let's hope we can solver the mystery eventually!

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the information, I hadn't considered Australia as a possibility.
