Psuedo marks on fork.....

Another one for you knowledgeable folk these are the only pictures I have for now but does anyone know any information about these marks? Looks possibly: B&C, pseudo head, lion facing right and D. It's a Kings pattern variant hourglass shape.

That's possibly Baldwin Gardiner of New York.

Thanks Trev I did look to the US first as the inscription looked typically American but the pseudo marks were different to what was listed for Baldwin Gardiner but there's never any comprehensive list of marks for that era. Sadly the person wanted too much so no purchase was made. I keep looking though for other interesting items.......
