Celtic point spoon marks

Post by juantotree »

Hi,

This is a celtic point teaspoon with IM struck 3 times, twice overstriking the same mark. I am thinking possibly Scottish or Irish provincial but would welcome the opinions of other members.

Thanks,

Martin

Hi Martin,

I think a close scrutiny may reveal it's 'JM'.

Likely to be that of James Morrison of Fochabers. See: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... son#p86780
