Colonial Fork?

Post by joho »

Hi - Is anyone able to identify where this fork may have come from ? It is 7.5 inches long and has initials RJM engraved to the terminal. Stamped twice with makers mark R.R or possibly R.P in a rectangular punch. In between the two makers marks is another almost triangular stamp. Difficult to read the mark - possibly a V or an A. Probably dates around 1800. Would be grateful for any help. many thanks John
