Mystery mark.

I have searched every reference that I have to find this mark. It is on a table spoon and is rather rubbed, but it seems to be “ED”, a leopard’s head and then two indistinguishable marks. The first one being three letters or numbers and the last mark could be anything!

I have tried to enhance the picture as much as I can, but I am hoping that someone will recognise what is visible.

The date looks like 1816.

An advertisment from Francis Dormieux & Co. that appeared in 'The Calcutta Gazette' at the same date as the above spoon, 1816.
