Scottish Provincial Maker: IT?

Yet another Scottish maker: it looks like either IT or IL.

Hello Miles,
I'd agree John Leslie of Aberdeen is most likely if you're happy the spoon is Scottish provincial. His dates are from about 1774-1821 by the way according to Jackson's page 584.
If not Scottish then, of course, any of a fair few spoonmakers using this style of punch.

The spoon does have a Scottish feel. The drop is certainly unEnglish.
