TRENCH WRIST WATCH - When and where?

Post by eldarinn »

Hello everybody.

I have a trench wrist watch that is very similiar to others I dealt with in the past but I never saw anything like these hallmarks before;

I am almost positive the hallmarks are British, for the F.W to be the Fuller maker of London. The 925 is also a typical British hallmark (although the movement is Swiss, cases were usually made within the UK).

What supposed to be the city is marked with two F in facing opposite of each other on the side and there is a capital R in rather cursive style that would stand for the year. Has anyone seen anything like this and could tell me where it was hallmarked and when?

Thank you for your time,
All the best
