Post by oldbiscuit »

Help neede. I know the year is 1841, but cannot find a maker.
Could some one be kind enough to tell me the correct name of this piece please. It measures at approximately 100mm long (4 inches in old money).

This is an Exeter piece made by Robert, James and Josiah Williams.

Sorry, I didn't read your question fully. It's a salt spoon.

Many thanks to you both.
I feel a bit stupid, i took one quick look and assumed it was Edinburgh, and then trawled the sites trying to find the maker. I am delighted to have stumbled across a piece from Exeter, serendipity i guess.

P.S. Admin, i am working on making the shots smaller.
