Hi Nate,
To my knowledge this mark has not been identified with certainty.
The mark may be connected with Marshall & Sons, but that is just my speculation, I have nothing concrete to back it up.
Marshall & Sons - Edinburgh - 1887

It's certainly an iconic cup. I hope this Edinburgh, Scotland MW mark will eventually get attributed! Thanks for weighing in, Trev!

The mark is struck upside down, it's W.M, maybe William Marshall III?
