A new purchase - a souvenir spoon depicting the 'Tower of Empire' (or 'Tait's Tower'), marked in Glasgow, 1938 (also registered 1938), but who's the maker? Thanks for any help.

Re: Empire Exhibition 1938 Spoon - Maker?
Oops, found it. Edward & Sons, Buchanan Street, Glasgow. Mystery solved.

Some notes on George Edward & Sons.
Established in Glasgow in 1838, opened London branch in 1864, coverted to a limited liability company and registered at Edinburgh in 1925.
One thing of note that they will be particularly remembered for is that they supplied the gold Freedom box that was presented to Henry Morton Stanley in 1887 by the City of London.
Edward & Sons Ltd were absorbed into Mappin & Webb in the 1960's.

A last bit of trivia - a bowl by this company was the last item marked by the Glasgow Assay Office in 1964.
