Mystery Marks

Does anyone know these marks? I am guessing they are British because of the Lion. I am grateful for any help. The first mark looks like it says

l can tell you that is is silver, assayed in Birmingham in 1899, not sure of the maker will have a look but someone on here will know

Well l wanted to check but the maker is William Hutton and Sons Ltd,who if you want l have a lot of info about, but to keep it short they had a manufactory in West Street Sheffield and Hanley Street Birmingham and showrooms in London
