Sterling coffee pot identification help please!

Post by sterlingpm »

Some time ago, I found this coffee pot, but have not been able to track down the maker. Can anyone with more experience than myself (I have practically no experience with English silver) help me identify the maker and age of this piece? The first close up of the hallmark is from the side of the pot; the second, clearer but more limited one is from the inside of the lid. Image ImageImage

Thank you,

Hi,

Your coffee pot was made in 1911 by the makers William Charles Fordham & Albert Faulkner.

Thank you, Martin. Are they Sheffield as I thought from trying to piece together information?

Fordham & Faulkner's workshops in 1911 were at Central Works, 17-19 Cambridge Street, Sheffield. They had previously been at Orchard Works, Orchard Lane, Sheffield and also had premises in Charterhouse Street, Holborn Circus, London.
