Serated Decorative Edged Knife,Makers Name Please?

Post by Nutty180 »

Hi all,Great forum by the way,I know sod all about silver!!!
I have a knife in my possession,On the knife's handle near where it joins the blade, is a Crown,Lion & the letter u,I found out what it meant is Sheffield,England,Year 1912,What i need to know is who is the maker?....J.A.S Comes before the markings,
On the blade it has ?? & D,a flower type symbol then L,The knife measures 10" inches long and the handle feels like some sort of plastic, bakerlite material.

Anyway,Thanks for any help you give,Keep up the good work,Jay.
