individual makers marks

Postby dswes » Tue Apr 30, 2019 7:22 pm

I have worked out this is EPBM and made by J Dixons & Sons, about 1938, but dont know what the bottom makers marks signify, can anyone help?

it reads:
Made in England,

Trumpet symbol- (used from 1920) for JD&S ,

JD&S = James Dixon & Sons, (Sheffield)
EPBM = (Electro Plated Britannia Metal)
then=
E287,
0, 3PT

its the last bits i am asking for help on?
