Need Help for identification

Post by frenchie_myriam »

Hello all,

I have this lovely inkwell which has been assayed in Chester in 1909. Unfortunately the maker's mark is pretty bad. It seems that this inkwell was a kind of customer gift by the BURLINGTON Hotel in Boscombe near Bournemouth. This hotel existed from 1892 to 1950.

If anyone has a clue, thanks in advance

Dear Neruda, I though that S Blanckensee and sons ltd had a Maker's mark in the form of a kind a crest. Do you think they could have registered 2 different maker's marks ?

Thanking you in advance for your comment, Best Regards. Myriam
