Hi Bert,

Could your silver spoon with its badly, nearly rubbed out marks, been made in Middelburg in the province of Zeeland and are we looking at the Silver Guild Combined Date Letter City mark of Middelburg? Being the letter T carrying a crowned double headed eagle. Yes perhaps with some vivid imagination. I believe this dates the spoon some were between 1791/1794. Maker's mark could be the mark on the right but unknown to me. The left mark an old Imperial French poinçon de hasard or second-hand mark (used 1798-1809), being a hatchet, badly punched and rubbed. Yes I believe we could!
