Hi,
Apologies if I'm completely off piste here but I'm a complete novice at silver identification - I'm a philatelist which is a different kettle of fish. I think I've got as far as identifying this set as being made in Birmingham around 1922-23...but I cannot find reference of the SW (or WS) inscription anywhere online. Can anyone help me?
(admin edit - see Posting Requirements )
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
All the best,
Nick
Help identifying Tea Set with SW inscription
Re: Help identifying Tea Set with SW inscription
Hi,
The maker is T. Wilkinson & Sons.
Engraved initials ‚‚SW‚‚ belonged to the owner who had it engraved.
Even family crests and coat of arms are difficult to identify and let alone initials. In a word,an impossible task.

Thank you very much AG2012. I would have been digging for an age by the sound of it!
