Would like information on old Norwegian spoon

Post by bystander1 »

This spoon was given to me along with other Norwegian silver so I am assuming it is Norwegian. Does anyone know anything about A. Sorensen? Since the silver content is given as 13 1/4 loth, I believe it must have been made before 1892 when Norway started using the other system (830S). Is this correct? I would also like to know what this spoon may have been used for. It is 13 cm long and fairly light weight. Was it a sugar spoon?
