A russian (?) ladle

Postby amena » Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:56 am

I saw this ladle that left me perplexed. I have never seen a ladle with a partial cloisonné: it seems to me an unhygienic thing. And even kokoshnik has something unconvincing.

What do you think ? Am I too suspicious?

Hi,
``Silver ladle - 84 silver - Enamel - Cloisonné - Russia - ca. 1875``
(Description by an ``expert``).Pay attention to the year,
I think it`s a fake.

Hi amena -

Both the marks and the design are just ridiculous!

Thank you for endorsing my feeling.
After reading many posts on Russian silver, it seems that I'm beginning to understand more than some "experts."
Or maybe they are in bad faith
Best regards
Amena
