Russian vodka cup "stopka"

Post by Qrt.S »

I found this nice vodka cup. The hallmark tells us that it is made in Moscow 1882-1899, but the maker MM is unknown to me. Does anybody recognize him? Thank you in advance.

Thank you, interesting case. I saw this P#2665-6 MM, but the working period didn't match. Please not the if it is Maslov, the hallmark on my stopka is a dvoinik. The year 1899 is the last year for dvoiniks but the first year of Maslov's productions...could it be that simple?

There are quite a lot of "imperfect/nsufficient" information in Postinkova. I have collected quite a register through the years...

Hi -

Maslov was a very busy man according to the many objects from him in my collection and on the market - range 1899-1916.
In all the years I have not seen an other MM - so it must be him.
