Who made these Russian spoons?

Post by niceguy1 »

HI

Who made these nice Russian enameled spoons? The maker’s initials look like M A

I should add that these have been with a family for a good 30 years so I wont be too worried about fakes etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think you can fine everything in the russian section:

- Maker's mark: Matrena Andreyeva, Moscou, 1894-1908
- Assayer: Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin, Moscou, 1898-1914

Regards,

I was thinking along those lines but since I’m a novice with Russian silver I wanted confirmation.

Thank you.
