Can You help with this Russian hallmark on Enamel Fork set

Post by mygoldrocks »

Hi,
I have come across these silver and enamel forks which seem to have Russian and Polish type hallmarks, can you help to identify them?

Come one now AG2012, that is not helping much.
Richard your cake fork is made in the Soviet Union, not Russia. One should not talk about Russia in this context. The difference between imperial Russia and the Soviet Union is more than enormous. The name of the factory in Leningrad is Leningradskaja Fabrika (9ЛЮ) and the fork is made in 1969. For some reason it has been taken to Warsaw in Poland and remarked (1963-1986). Most likely the reason was that the owner wanted to sell it there....maybe. The silver fineness is 875/1000.
