Hi all -
a friend sent me this crappy mobile photos from Sweden. I believe I can see AH and Morozov

Is this the story from the blood-feeding pelikan from the Bible?

The Morozov punch looks not very convincingly. The dealer asked scrap value(admin edit) - I took them

When they arrive I send better photos.

Yes, we look forward to better images, in the meantime I politely ask everybody to stick to the topic or use pm to express personal feelings and/or frustrations.

Hi all -
the spoon arrived - never trust a blurry iphone photo!
Here it is:

Please compare with the shown photos from Ubaranda - the same system: original spoon (until now I have only seen spoons) with original assaymark - rest is faked. Mostly the better names - but clumsy, bizarre and not near of the original punches. Always with AH in different configurations. Though allegedly all the big shots bought spoons from him - even Fabergé - what a joke (!) - nobody knows his name.

Beware!

Another Morozov/Karl Werlin salt vessel. The strange looking eagle is typical for Morozov - looks like a fake - but is authentic.

Mind my asking but what is the Morozov connection to Karl Werlin? His working period was 1871-1878 and here we have a right looking kokshnik from 1908-1917(26). The maker's mark BK (Latin VK) is to my understanding Vasily Kangin 1895-1908, or?

Hi Qrt.S -
you are absolutely right! I always confuse Werlin with Kangin in my head. Age reasons?
Of course it is Kangin! Thanks for the correction!
