Hi all -
found a spring loaded cigarillo folding case in brass (normaly used in the marine - seawater + silver = corrosion).
Please have a look at the stamps - who could it be?

Any help appreciated

To make it clear that this type of folding cases existed, here another one by the Fin Johan Erik Sällmann, 1859, St. Petersburg, 84 Zolotniki

Because it it brass, it could be anyone. Unfortunately I have no idea.

However, I can tell you more about J.E. Sällman. He was born i Pojo/Pohja in Southern Finland 10.5.1816. In 1830 he arrived to St Petersburg and became journeyman 1835. In 1853 he was master and marked IES 1853-1891. He was married 3.12.1844 with Christina Carolina Österholm, born 20.10.1809 in Ekenäs/Tammisaari and deceased 4.7.1880.
