Enameled Shot cups

Post by niceguy1 »

Hello

I have this boxed set of 3 Russian? enameled shot cups, they don’t shine like silver so I’m not sure if they are silver.

What does the writing on the box say? & the hallmark?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Unfortunately the picture of the mark on the box is out of focus. The mark in the bottom, however, tells us that your cups are made in "Jewelery and watch factory in Leningrad" in 1955 or 1965 and as as AG2012 already stated, not silver but some kind of German silver. Your cups are possibly a future antiquity. The Soviet era is gone and such cups are not made anymore. Use them and save them for the future.
