The magnificent collection of silver at Temple Newsam consists of 200 objects dating between Elizabethan and modern times . Highlights include the Mostyn and Thirkleby Flagons (1601 and 1646), the Castle Howard Ewers (1697), the Kirkleatham Centrepiece (1731) and the de Lamerie Tea Equipage (1735). In addition, there is an array of different types of domestic objects that illustrate not only the development of historical styles, but also the different uses to which silver has been put over the centuries.

Summer : 10.30-5.00 Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Mondays except bank holidays & occasional events.
Winter : 10.30-4.00 Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Mondays except bank holidays & occasional events.

Adult (over 16) £3.50, Child (aged 5-16) £2.50, Child under 5 Free
Family Ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) £9.00.
