Help with pattern - Simpson Hall Miller Sterling

Post by hpidaves »

Hello,
I believe this is a Simpson Hall Miller piece -- the maker's mark is pretty faded, but I'm pretty sure it's the shield with "S" in the center. I cannot find the pattern anywhere. I tried Replacements, but it's not listed under the SHM patterns. I do know that SHM became part of International Silver, and International used the shield maker's mark for many years after that.

The pattern somewhat resembles the silver plate Danish Princess pattern, and is also similar to the SHM sterling Royal Danish pattern. The handle is stamped "STERLING HANDLE" with the SHM mark before it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I found it. I looked through 18 of 36 pages of all the International patterns on Replacements. They call the pattern "INS300".
