BTW-Sorry for the severe plate flaking-damage...what was once commonly seen by thousands of diners daily has been reduced by the ravages of time to a mere fraction of the original orders. Gotta run with whatever documentable samples survive. On the other hand, the base metal held up extremely well...can't fault Oneida for bad steel here. It would appear the Poole (from an online dispenser) was one earlier maker/supplier of the Child's concern, though not clear to what degree.

A quality ware, but not exactly the top of the food chain for vitrified china products...perhaps also reflected in the firm's choice of silverplate items?
