Baker-Manchester Un-identified: BMU-1

Post by Traintime »

One of a group of as yet un-named patterns by Baker-Manchester Manufacturing Company of Providence Rhode Island. In lieu of an orderly system, I'm going to name this BMU-1 until we have a real identification. In this case, the bowl is gold-washed back and front to the top of the first design element of the handle. Length is just shy of 9". The frontal detail is stamped through the back, leaving a concave impression from the rear (and thus using less silver than a solid piece).
