Post by Traintime »

At 27 1/2 cm. (shy of 11 inches) and bearing the Broggi stamp separated from the Milano hex. mark [No F/Fr for Fratelli in this paticular case.] Engraved "S" monogram on handle reverse, in European fashion. Wear points betray copper as likely base metal. Six photos to highlight detail. Pattern name and era unknown.

Thanks. No matches there. From what I'm getting, the original firm was succeeded after 1929 and again mid-century by a firm that ceased in 1991. The current name useage is apparently a division of larger firm. (IMO-Plated stainless predominates, so a very different kind of working process is probable, i.e. automation with it's consequent loss of fine details in the pattern work.)
