Re: Help me please to identify this box
Hi Vic,
My knowledge of such pieces is scant, but check out the marks of Kenneth Begay here: http://www.925-1000.com/americanMod_1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Kenneth Begay had a cousin named Allen Kee, see: http://www.925-1000.com/americanMod_2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Perhaps the work of another of the Kee family?

Found it. George Kee. The mark to the left of the 'GK' represents the White Hogan workshop.
George Kee was the brother of Allen Kee.

If you do an internet search for Anthony Kee Jewelry, it should turn up George's son's site, which has a good bit of information about the Kee brothers (Allen, George & Ivan), cousin Kenneth Begay and the White Hogan Shop; as well as a number of examples of their striking Modernist silver (he might like to see this lovely piece by his Dad).

Hi Cheryl,
I've dropped Anthony an e-mail, as you've stated, I'm sure he would be interested in seeing this box.

Hello everyone, sorry to take so long to get back, but I just wanted to comment on what an awesome sterling overlay design box made by my dad George Kee. Love it, and pretty cool to see pics of his past works! Thank you, Anthony

Hi Anthony,
Welcome to the Forum.
It would be great to see some examples of your work too, if possible, and also an example of your marks.
Regards, Trev.

Welcome Anthony. Have been a fan of your very talented family's work since my Mom added one of your Dad's salt spoons to her collection many years ago - nice to see you carrying on a fine tradition.
