NAVAJO CUFF HALLMARK TROUBLE PLEASE HELP !!!

Post by InstantCash »

Again hello everyone This cuff is caught my eye and I always held on to it because of the deep patina and the fact that I could never make out the hallmark, I've done plenty of research on this piece and could only find out that is was of Navajo origin. Any Help would be greatly appreciated folks.

Yes, Navajo. Red or blood coral. maybe, Moric. stone if black matrix there or old Kingman. We see this mark pre 1930 and the Barton Wright book can help. Some made pieces for their family and after marriage their hallmarks change. Some are never 100 percent identified. The book is on Amazon, get new edition or Email native Amer Arts ans crafts Assoc.. If i am sure after research, i will post. May take 1 to 2 weeks. Blessings, TwoWorlds :)
