Peandant/brooch

Post by hodo »

I have a unusual signed brooch/pendant and am not familiar with the makers mark. Any help would be appreciated. ImageImage

The trademark on your pendant/brooch belongs to Carlisle Silver Co., Inc. d.b.a. Carlisle Jewelry Co. CORPORATION NEW MEXICO 750 Rankin Rd., NE. Albuquerque NEW MEXICO 87107. It was registered with the U S Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in 1983. It was reported to the USPTO when this trademark was filed that it was first used in 1980. This trademark was renewed in 2003, and it is live.

The company is the same as Relios/Carolyn Pollack. They sell on QVC and the Carolyn Pollack website. I don't think they market under the Carlisle name any more.

Apparently, this is who the were in 2003, Carlisle Silver Company, Inc. d/b/a Carlisle Jewelry Company, H. William Pollack, III, Carolyn Pollack and J.C. Penney Company, Inc, so it looks like at least since that time they have been connected.
