Candy or Nut Dish stamped CORNWELL

Post by Aunt Zibba »

OK, I am definitely going to need instructions on importing images!

I inherited a candy/nut dish years ago, and on the bottom is says:

CORNWELL
STERLING
Weighted Reinforced
42

I am absolutely clueless. Any ideas??
BTW---I am SOOO excited to find this site...I have lots of silver to identify, and piles of books on it, but none so user friendly as this!! Already nailed the identity of an 1895 Christening mug, and am working on a few other pieces...sure I'll be asking lots of questions.
