Coin Silver Knife Cupola M&M Arm&Hammer

Post by TreasureTX »

Hello, I am looking for any information on the makers marks for this knife, which is coin silver and I believe dates form the mid 1800's. The marks on the blade are what appear to be a cupola, the initials M&M, and an arm and hammer. There are no other marks on the knife. Thank you.

Here are direct links to the photos in Photobucket. The images showed up in preview here, but when I tried to post the error message told me they had to be less than 1000 pixels wide, which they are. I have already resized them but they will not post. Sorry for the trouble. If someone has a suggestion for getting them to post I'm willing to try again, just don't know what else to do.

Hi Shawna,

Absolutely no idea! The system gets a little crotchety sometimes, you just start again and usually it's OK second time around.
