Hallmark on gold ring conformation

Good morning - I think I know what the hallmarks on this ring mean, but I would like confirmation.
Am I right in saying that the ring is 9Ct (375) Assayed in London (I think that is a panther head) in 1988 (the date letter seems to be O with a tail inside the O). Would that be correct?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your image is tiny and I've enlarged it the best I can:

A&GL

It appears, from what I can see, that your conclusion is a correct one.

Dognose,
Thanks for that and apologies for the image being a bit small.
A&GL 'crown' 375 'panther' 'O'
I think the second from right is a panther - but really it just looks like a blob - and the rightmost symbol seems to be an O with a small tail coming down from the top. I had thought the ring was quite old as it was passed on to me, but I guess that date symbol can only mean 1988 - is that correct? I couldn't see that they re-used date symbols and I also couldn't see any other letter it may be confused with (Q for example). I had hoped that it was a 20 or 30's UK ring!

Hi,
A&GL is rather common, but not identified so far. Always marked with late 20th century London date letters. It’s wrongly attributed to Asprey & Garrard Limited elsewhere.
