Old ring with markings on outside of band?
Old ring with markings on outside of band?
I have an old looking ring and marking is very faded, odd to me that it is on the outside of the band? I looked up why this could be, perhaps it had been resized for example? But it is so tiny if I look rectangle up it looks like a detailed head but if I look rectangle width way it looks like a lion/dragon? But not the normal lion mark I’ve seen on a lot of other silver? Is it silver? The claws look tarnished gold holding the stone but the band looks gold and silver? It was my nans who also loved collecting old items but I’d like to know if this is anything someone can help with please??

Hi admin
Apologies for that, do I need to do the whole post again or can I edit it and include pics that way?
Thanks
