Help! What is this Hallmark?

I have a necklace that is most likely from the 1980's. The necklace is a choker with big black beads and a large pendant with a design on it. The back has what looks like a rod with a round top sticking out under the stamp. Very strange to describe. It could be that there is a piece missing.
It is stamped Sterling on the clasp and on the back of the pendant, I think it says: D.B. jai, INC STERLING. I'll add the picture of the pendant stamp. I hope someone knows who this is. Thanks!
