What does 100P or 100R imprinted on 925 silver bracelet mean

Post by lilyofthevalley »

Hello

I have a sterling silver bracelet (925) which is made up of nine griffins/phoenix each imprinted with '100P or 100R', it's difficult to tell.

Would anyone know what this means. Thanks for any replies.

I have now managed to do some research and find that the Sterling Silver 925 bracelet I have is made up of the Russian double headed eagle. There are 9 of these linked together with a chain link. The bracelet is quite heavy.

Does anyone know where this bracelet could have originated from. It has no hallmarks whatsoever, so obviously foreign to us, but is stamped on the back of each eagle with the figure 100P or R, I really don't know.

Thanks for any replies.

Is your bracelet actually stamped with 925..if not how do you know it is 925 silver? Also Some lower grade silver is simply marked 800....if you turn your mark upside down..is it possibly 800 rather than 100R or P?
Best wishes, Mike.
