Hello!
Yes, it is Óbuda(Altofen).
There is 3 possibilities for the maker. (if it's I.P.)
Polák József worked from 1820. We know a different maker's mark from him.
Pucher János mentioned at 1805. We don't know his mark.
Pucher József was the son of Pucher Károly. He died in 1839. We don't know his maker mark either.
If it's I.D. that we don't know any maker with this monogram.

Can I know more about the item? Can you show, what it is?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards!

Yes it is JD and now I see you had the question before without an answer. Thank you for taking the time to try and find out who JD was! Here is the piece, it is a Jewish amulet --- large Hebrew letter "Hey" (it stands for "G-d"), with a crown on top of the letter (known as a "Crown of Torah"). It came with silver mounted stones, Austrian silver coins dating from about 1800, all hanging on a faded blue ribbon. ImageImageImageImage
